In my Swimming Pool series, I explore the tension between physical immersion and emotional resistance. The swimming pool is not only a container of water but a metaphorical space where the body negotiates boundaries — between weight and weightlessness, visibility and concealment. I use photography to visualize hydrodynamic resistance, capturing how water reshapes form, movement, and perception. The smooth, reflective surface contrasts the invisible pressure underneath — an interplay that mirrors feelings of freedom, isolation, and constraint. Through suspended gestures and layered reflections, I examine how identity and memory are refracted and distorted by both fluid and cultural forces.
